About Us
Peeling paint, chalky siding, or scuffed walls make your home look tired and can let moisture into wood. Otago Painters fixes that with careful prep and professional painting as your interior house painter, exterior house painter, and roof painter in Otago, and we plan work around dry, mild weather so exterior paint cures right.
We have spent years working on stucco, wood, brick, and metal in Otago, so we know what lasts here and what fails fast. We wash, scrape, sand, repair, caulk, prime stains, and apply two finish coats with the right method for each surface, and we are licensed, insured, and lead safe trained.
You get clear pricing, a written scope, real start and finish dates, and colour help with sample swatches so you see it before we roll it. We use low volatile organic compound coatings when possible, we test for moisture before we paint, and we stand behind our work with a written workmanship guarantee, so you are not stuck fixing the same problem twice.
For interiors we repair drywall, skim rough patches, seal stains, choose the right sheen for each room, and use low odour paints that dry hard so the finish looks clean and holds up to daily wear. For exteriors and roofs we wash and decontaminate, scrape to a firm edge, caulk and seal joints, prime bare areas, apply the correct film thickness, and coat metal or tile roofs with products that reflect heat and extend service life to help stop rot, rust, and leaks.
For a House Painter Otago you can count on, we are ready to help. You can tell us about your project and we will set a quick site visit and a written quote.
